Originally from New York, Ms. Stephanie has been dancing since she was 3 and has dedicated her life to sharing her passion for dance. With a Master’s in Education, Montessori Certification, AZ teaching certification, and Dance Masters of America certification, she’s passionate about helping students of all ages grow and succeed. The joy she feels seeing her students accomplish their goals is what keeps her motivated every day!

DanceUp was founded by Ms. Stephanie Sliker, who grew up dancing at United Academy of the Performing Arts in Oneida, NY. Under the mentorship of Ms. Sandie Fukes & Ms. Wende Warne, she thrived in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theater, acrobatics, lyrical, hip hop, and modern dance. Competing across the northeast, she won multiple championships between the ages of 7 and 17. After attending Oklahoma City University for Dance Performance, Stephanie went on to dance and teach professionally across the U.S. for over 20 years.

Now living in Arizona with her family, Stephanie is committed to giving back to the community by offering a program that provides the same high-quality education and family-like atmosphere she cherished growing up. Stephanie’s goal is to motivate every student to reach their full potential, both on and off the stage, while fostering lifelong friendships in a supportive, encouraging environment.
